From what I am reading, it seemed common at the Disney studio. Even Walt Disney married Lillian Bounds, who was an inker he hired.

Generally I say it's a bad idea, but very few seem to make it work. Usually with one getting another job.

It can work, but you do have to be careful. If things don't go well, it can easily spread throughout the workplace. Not as risky if you're in different departments.
Or course some places don't allow coworker dating at all, which requires even more caution. --- This is a mobile account, forgive any errors. ~DYL~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTEX3YdEi7s ... Copied to Clipboard!

Co-workers? Sure, but it might be awkward later. Also yeah. I would absolutely never date an employee. Too much legal mess. Dating someone who's your "equal" is safer. --- This is a mobile account, forgive any errors. ~DYL~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTEX3YdEi7s ... Copied to Clipboard!

It can be tricky, but I think there is some study that shows that co-worker romantic relationships actually have a higher success rate than most others.
That said, you should avoid subordinates. The danger is too high. --- S*** I have to stop doing that," Gheb said, as he lay back down and died again. - Forgotten Love Chiefs are going to win the Super Bowl ... Copied to Clipboard!

Dating a co-worker is fine. Dating an employee or employer is pretty messed up though, because of the unequal power dynamic of one party having that much power/influence over the other's livelihood.

I'm marrying a former coworker. We worked in different departments so we had to go out of our way to interact much. If it would've gone south we could've easily avoided eachother for the most part.

It's fine if you don't mind every woman at work knowing the exact measurements of your dick and all the metrics of your sexual performance, lol.
Can go south pretty fast though. Like if you have a bad breakup and everyone knows about it, then you have people picking sides and whatnot. Can get awkward enough that you might want to bail altogether, I've done it. --- "We know things can move faster than the speed of light because liberal tears are on the ground before something offensive even happens" - Coffeebeanz ...
