Aside from needing fucking 6 AA batteries and being large and unwieldy for a handheld, it was pretty good. I mainly remember playing Streets of Rage all the time

I had one, and it was cool. I had the TV tuner adapter for it also. The Shinobi games were the best.

I had one, pretty sure we had an AC adapter for it.
I remember the Sonic games and Columns. Never did have one of the TV adapters though that was always a cool concept. Yeah, I had all the Sonic games and a few others. Honestly it wasn't that good. I quickly switched to only using it when there was an outlet for the AC adapter because the battery life was so bad you couldn't even beat a Sonic game on one charge.

I had one. I liked that you could play in the dark, back before game boy could. but battery life sucked. I usually played with the AC adapter whenever possible.

I never had one but I had friends who did. I remember playing it sitting next to a plug outlet because the damn thing drained batteries real quick.

That game built around tails was my favorite.
You unlocked all different kinds of bombs and various items so you could explore the levels and find more upgrades. It was the only game I thought was legitimately good and not just a decent time waster. Tails Adventure or something. Only downside, and it was a big one, was that for a game that was all about unlockables and exploration... it had a fucking password save system. ...and because it had so much stuff, it was like a fucking six line password. --- ........the ghost in the machine...
