When I first started working with this cosplayer years ago, her friend would tag along and actually walked around with a wolf tail attached to her (not a cosplay), outside as well. Her friend's art is also the weird furry deviantart type of stuff.

I was at an airport. One of the personnel there had a gay pride wristband and a pin on his uniform with an anthropomorphic fox on it. I didn't get a chance to read what the pin said.

Halloween 2018 or 17, 3 people in furry costumes walked by me on the sidewalk as I was coming home from work. It was mildly unsettling. It might have been a bit unnerving if not Halloween >_>

Yes, they were harassing people outside of an ice cream parlor when I got out of a movie across the street. Disgusting degenerates dancing around in their fur suits.

Dunno how much I'd wear it outside of my home and conventions, given that wearing it out in the general public for no particular reason is probably just inviting harassment and vandalism, but I'm trying to save up for a really good murr I mean, fursuit.
