When they opened, they didn't have any chicken, so there's a 15 minute wait. I was first in line, but I thought there would be a lot more people. Maybe the craze has died down around here.

Will update with my thoughts on the sandwich when I get home.

Not sure. They said it would be a wait, so I just decided to come inside to wait instead of sitting in my car. Not a single piece of chicken was ready.

popeyes in austin being empty, huh.

I don't expect the lines to die down for another week or two when everyones had this sandwich and people don't wanna stand in line for hours anymore. Or they get jobs.

They aren't just any pickles they are vlassic pickles, the finest pickles money can buy, a mature delicacy to say the least.

As for the sandwich, it's Popeyes chicken between a bun. Salty and not good for you but as far as their chicken goes, good taste. I'd say it's about on par with chickalays original chicken sandwich.

I drove by our Popeyes and the lot was packed. This fad needs to die down.

Tried going the other day, thinking I might have better luck since this particular Popeyes has no drive thru. Saw the line was out the door and nope'd outta there.

Want to try it eventually.

How long is the event

Angry Americans Are Fighting Over a Coveted Chicken Sandwich. People are yelling, throwing objects at each other and dying over a piece of breaded chicken served in a bun. Sad.

dont see why people made a big deal over a sandwhich, but stuff like that makes me feel good when i think my life is boring
