I dunno, but they are known for it, when I were in Olso this summer they had so much more fish balls than we get here, and I bought some and they were the best fish balls I've had.

I think scallops kinda remind me of fish balls, but fish balls is more uniform in texture and softer. Also fish balls taste more of fish, scallops had barely a seafood flavor to it.
