well there probably always was

but I have this card I want to sell, was willing to mail the code

I take certain precautions when doing this

such as messaging the seller multiple times, and not sending the code an hour out. Usually works

but last night, as soon as someone buys it, they IMMEDIATELY are like SEND THE CODE ASAP PLEASE, RIGHT NOW

and 5 minutes later, I get a message saying that the account was hacked into and ebay not only canceled the transaction, but completely erased the item

this happened 6 times within an hour last night

so this means people are ACTIVELY looking for digital codes, IMMEDIATELY hacking into the account JUST to get the item, and then try to redeem the code ASAP before they're spotted

I have NEVER seen it this bad before

ebay must have their work cut out for them now
