Exploring was the only real draw of BotW, so unless the overworld is changed massively or completely new it won't be interesting. I didn't care for the combat at all and the shrines/dungeons were weaker than the typical Zelda. In contrast, that sense of total freedom once BOTW's version of "it's dangerous out there, take this" tutorial area was just the best. Scanning the horizon for something cool looking, and then adventuring there to find it made every session its own story.
