Who are your favorite local bands/artists from your own neck of the woods, CE? Everybodys taste differs, yet id still love to hear all about everyones fav local bands...

I grew up in newburgh, ny and there was/still is a plethora of ppl coming up/regional mainstays who deserve a bigger audience and id wager the same is true for anywhere on the globe..

Two favs of mine:

Jeez I'm really not into the music scene like I was years ago. Haven't been to a show in years.

South central PA, north Maryland used to have a rich scene, not so much anymore, either that or I'm just way out of the loop. I'd post a ton of links but a lot of those bands are gone now, might be able to drum up some old myspace ones at best!

That said my all time favorites:

Warhawk - thrash metal

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bv-fRA4Jlrk" data-time="

Metrix - thrash metal

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIORaUWh1Ag" data-time="

Horde of the Eclipse - black metal

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1KeXijPjI4" data-time="

Walkure (no links sadly, US style power metal)

Radical Discharge - heavy/thrash

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Km-CDBiSRQA" data-time="

Dark black- US power metal

It occurs to me that I own a number of CDs from these bands, including many of the dead and gone ones, i should probably figure out how to share them on YouTube

Yeah dude, preserve those demos/albums on youtube. I lost access to so much music when myspace deleted every song on the site
