Guy on r/NEET tries to apply to costco for a job, with unfortunate outcomes

https://www.reddit.com/r/NEET/comments/dfi0bj/was_just_rejected_from_costco/

was just rejected from costco

been living the neet life(which sucks) for a while now. I'm on Social security at 33. I applied to costco 2 weeks ago, had an interview last week, during which they said they'd give me a second interview. I've been calling them back to inquire as to when they would grant me the second interview. They told me repeatedly that they'd call me back to schedule a time. I wasn't being pushy, always polite, but I just talked to them this morning and they said they'd be going with another candidate. what bugs the shit out of me is absolutely no mention of WHY i was rejected. I realize that maybe this is the BUSINESS world, which as far as i can tell means they're not obligated by a sense of decency to tell a 33 year old with no job what he could possibly do better to score a job, but it fucking sucks all the same. starting to think maybe my life headed the way it did is because i'm bitter and fed up with the way things, like this are. OKAY, so back to indeed for shit jobs I go.

NEET realizes other people are just jealous of NEETS

https://www.reddit.com/r/NEET/comments/dfcu07/people_are_jealous_of_neets/

People are jealous of NEETS.

I walk around town with happiness and smiles and people are usually happy but some scold at me because they have to race to the ball and chain back home, "a wife, kids," etc. But I have free time all day. Internally its really hilarious.

NEET is tired until 7pm then wakes up

https://www.reddit.com/r/NEET/comments/deow2o/how_do_you_stay_up_during_the_day/

How do you stay up during the day?

Extremely tired all day until like 7pm rolls around.

Costco is like the top of the top for retail jobs, its a genuinely good job

Probably a lack of self awareness reading that

I cant even imagine the lowest tier of retail even hiring a 33 year old with no job experience. Unless you're mentally or physically disabled there really is no excuse. And even then they wouldnt higher you becuase that s*** either.

And why do you say that

Employers don't want potentially lazy employees who've done f*** all up till then with no good reason.

So if you're 33 and never had a job you might as well remain a NEET forever?

It's never to late to enroll in college, learn a trade, become a entrepreneur, youtuber, or even a streamer. So no. If NEETs have just one advantage in something its time.

An hour for a NEET is like 5 minutes, unless they're being paid for that hours, then it's four hours

His best option might be Amazon but I doubt he will work fast enough to keep the job very long.

Still could hoard some cash at least.

it's really not. depression (and possibly suicidal ideation) is fucking awful, not to mention it's even worse if you've got some debilitating medical issue that prevents you from a regular life.
