It all makes sense now. Cheese wrapped in plastic? Kraft dinner? Bagged milk?

This cheese is as American as the origin of the burger (Hamburg, Germany).

Stop buying shit cheese.

There's cheese and then there's cheese. For comfort food, grilled Kraft American cheese can't be beat. OTOH, I wouldn't use American slices for Welsh Rarebit, but Kraft shredded sharp cheddar will work. I use mozzarella instead of cheese curds in my poutine, and a mix of mozarella, parmesan, provelone, asiago, and cheddar on my pizza. Colby and pepper jack for munching with crackers.

Yes. It can be beat. That stuff is shit. Even the deli delux style is better and melts just as well.

My momma used Kraft Singles, I have always used them, my daughter-in-law uses them. It's traditional. Just like Kraft Dinner. Actually, if my memory doesn't play me false, Kraft Dinner was my first independent cooking as a kid, boiling the macaroni, measuring the butter and milk, stirring in the orange cheese powder.

Barenaked Ladies: "If I had a million dollars, we wouldn't have to eat Kraft Dinner (but we still would because we like Kraft Dinner)"

You know what else was traditional? Slavery. Misogyny. Racism.

Fuck tradition as an excuse.

ROFL! So is heroism, patriotism, tolerance, charity, and so on.
