(PS2)) 0% (0 votes) 0 Frankenstein by Mary Shelley (book -- part of 100 Classic Books (DS)) 0% (0 votes) 0 Tecmo Super Bowl II: Special Edition (Gen) 0% (0 votes) 0 I just beat Lunar: The Silver Star (SCD) -- 10/10 Took me about 38 hrs to beat it. This was my 3rd time beating it. While there's nothing really groundbreaking about it, with the battle positioning being about the only thing that sets it apart from the standard JRPG of the day, it's just a really fun game to play. The battles are brisk, the music is great, it requires zero grinding (unless you just HAVE to buy every new piece of equipment along the way, which is far from required to survive), and the characters are fun (something I rarely care about). Ghaleon has some of my favorite bits in any game. About the only things I can fault it for are that it's way too easy and Working Designs went overboard on the pop culture references. Many of the references are just dialog that fits the situation with no mention of the source, so if you aren't familiar with what it's referring to, you probably wouldn't think twice about it. It almost became a game to me finding all the references and thinking "Aha! I know that reference." If the Intellivision games are 2-player only, I'll go with what comes in 2nd (or 3rd or 4th, depending on how many Intv games I have to eliminate). Daisenryaku II is a Japanese import strategy game, so I'll get to translate it as I play. It's part of the same franchise as Iron Storm on Saturn.
