I'm also interviewing for a network position with another company, but I'm not sure I have the skillset they're looking for... We'll see how it goes. Not sure I want to leave, but if the other company gives an offer with the right dollar amount, I may be moving to San Antonio.

Depends how you define "decent gain" although I do admit in my industry it wasn't uncommon to jump for 50-100% increments (assuming you had the credibility/reputation to land such roles).

haha, this. i'm leaving my current job in a couple of weeks and there are people who don't won't me to leave so much they jokingly call me a traitor or subtly try to induce paranoia/fear about my new employer.

i wouldn't be leaving if they ever gave me a raise, provided opportunities to grow or progress, and just in general got their shit together and stopped fucking me about. but they refused to do anyone of those and seemingly expected me to do the exact same job for the exact same pay forever, so screw them.
