Master Chief as dlc would probably match Cloud in hype by simply being a competitor mascot. However if Chief came in during Brawl, it would have hit Sonic 'break the internet' levels

I think Master Chief is the only game character left that would truly break all of the rules remaining for video game characters. Samus and Chief in the same game would be surreal. The weird thing is I wouldn't rule it out at all like I would have a mere year or so ago. If he's in you can't even rule out guys like Kratos if Sony wanted to play ball. Smash Bros would truly be the biggest crossover gaming franchise of all time.
Someone like Crash Bandicoot, Doom Guy or Rayman would be significant in the sense that we haven't had a Western third party rep that didn't originate in a Nintendo game. But I think that's guaranteed to be broken very soon. --- Kind Regards, Darmik ... Copied to Clipboard!
