I think they're going to go all out and try to position themselves as the 'consumer friendly' console

- Backwards compatibility will be treated as a big deal. They'll continue the Xbox One X thing with 360/OG Xbox games by adding automatic 4x upscaling to all Xbox One games that weren't X enhanced. They'll add more 360 and OG Xbox games

- Certain games like Halo Infinite will be truly crossgen. A retail copy will be the same for both Xbox One and Scarlet. Digital copies will also work on PC. Any third party developer is also able to do this. They'll probably use a third party game like Cyberpunk 2077 as an example of getting a next generation upgrade for free if you own it on Xbox One

- All of their first party games will continue to be on PC. They will also be on Steam.

- Xbox Cloud will be a big focus. Might cost an additional subscription to stream games off their servers (or Game Pas Ultimate) but you can stream any game for free from your own console

- There will eventually be a cheap little streaming box for Xbox Cloud but not at launch

- December 2019 Xbox conference will focus on Xbox Cloud and June 2020 will be all about Scarlett

- They will say that any game on their platform is open to crossplay with anyone that wants it. They'll name drop Steam and Switch

- Halo Infinite and Fable reboot as launch titles. Perfect Dark within first year. They'll make a big deal that their first party problem is over and it's a huge focus. They will make a big deal that every single first party game will be on Game Pass at launch and that you will have hundreds of games to play on Scarlett day one if you subscribe

- No new controller. Old accessories carry over

- $499

I think it's going to be good year for Xbox next year.

I don't really give a rats ass. I have an Xbox One and I still haven't played a lot of shit I want to play (talkin pc gaming too). So when it's out we'll see. Fuck speculation.

I just did realize Borderlands 3 is set up to be remastered for the new consoles due to the release date though. Buncha assholes.
