just yesterday Friday i went to an american chinese restaurant and ordered a Kung Pao Chicken meal.

the food was pretty good with the nuts and chicken, steamed rice and pieces of celery. But the food was also spicy hot because of the sauce.

Thats the american version of kung pao chicken though.

is actual Kung Pao chicken supposed to be that spicy hot?

The main ingredient is chilli so it's at least a little spicy.

It's not supposed to be scorching but i dont know if you are youre just a bit more heat sensitive.

Seems so: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kung_Pao_chicken#History

Usually, Kung Pao chicken isn't spicy enough, IMO. The spiciest thing I ever ate was a traditional Chinese spice blend.

The classic dish in Sichuan cuisine

Szechuan cuisine is a style of Chinese cuisine originating from Sichuan Province. It has bold flavours, particularly the pungency and spiciness resulting from liberal use of garlic and chili peppers, as well as the unique flavour of Sichuan pepper.

ill look at the brand next time i get them (it might be local) but theres this jerky thats supposed to be really hot. i like it cuz its like really dry and tough instead of rubbery like jacks links or w/e (i like it both ways)

also the tabasco slim jims are tasty
