What I have been doing:

1. Eat less rice and eat more veggies, meats, and fruits

2. Workout at least 3 times a week

3. Dont eat late at night after 9pm and if I really have to, then I would eat a small portion of food or drink more water

4. Drink less soda and energy drink and drink more coffee, tea, and water.

Im currently at 241 pounds and I am 61 feet tall. My goal is to reach 200 by the end of this year.

Throw on a backpack that's about 15lbs
that's what made me drop about 10lbs in two months.
But it only really helps if you walk afew miles a day I think

This got me so good at the exact right time

But for real, might be lame but if you don't already have a calorie counting type app then I'd suggest getting one. I used MyFitnessPal whenever I needed to lose a little weight and that thing was phenomenal. Just about any food you will ever eat you can scan it or type it in and it'll tell you everything.

Don't drink your calories. That was my hardest shit, Gatorade is my life. But you realize all that shit adds up so I just stuck with water and a Gatorade would last a week. My dessert if you will.

I've never had to lose more than like 10-15 pounds but that app really was great and it always does the trick. Just seeing what you're eating, mainly limiting the amount, is huge. One time I was eating pizza for lunch 4 days a week with no issue.

Eat more complex carbohydrates. Slows digestion, prevents your blood sugar from spiking, great poops, keeps you full for longer.

Drink lots of water while eating. Makes you feel full faster.

When you are full, your brain doesn't tell you right away. It'll take awhile for you to lose your appetite. Eat slowly or eat while doing some other activity. I eat while playing multiplayer games that I can't pause so I'm forced to eat slowly.

If you get really hungry between meals, stave off hunger with an apple or a banana. They're actually great at keeping you feeling full.

Low calorie foods that will keep you full: some soups, cucumbers, watermelon
Protein is also great at keeping you full. Eggs and lean meat.

Lots of good stuff already mentioned. Especially count calories and don't drink calories. Also try to get good sleep and progressively make your workouts harder.

I have been using the fitbit app since I have the watch for it too. I have been logging in my food, water count, weight loss, workouts, and more. I have been drinking lots of water lately and I have learned that I shouldn't drink anything else besides tea or coffee!

Thanks! What are some examples of complex carb foods? Potatoes?
