Watch a youtube tutorial will probably be the easiest way to get into it. Playing a petty king in Ireland in 1066 is usually pretty easy

Start as Matilda of Tuscany. She's young, she has good stats, she's in a powerful position, and there are multiple potential avenues for expansion
