Last day of school was yesterday , first year in a classroom (subbing)

Long term subbing was interesting, I plan to do it again next year, but now I need to find a new job until September

Annoying that places want you to be available all day for part time hours... what are some of the best temporary jobs?

congrats on finishing up the school year!

This summer I'm switching schools since I moved to a new town. I'll be teaching at a high school and I'm doing three different classes.

My main goals this summer are to get prepped for the new year. Just basically get planned out and all that stuff. I'm the head of the science department, and the school just bought a new science curriculum, so I have to get all that ish figured out.

I'm stil lunder contract with my old school district and still get paid in the summer. Plus, I'll be getting paid from this new school district as well since I've been doing trainings and things.

I've never picked up a job in the summer since I've been teaching, but in the future I may look into to personal training in the summer. Maybe you can look into tutoring or something (you have a finance background,right?)

Mostly just creating lessons plans for the upcoming semester. I also participate in after school activities (track & field, tennis) that mostly continue through the summer, so I'm usually around for those too. I don't know how it works where you're from, but I get payed through the summer, except for one week where I am forced to use my vacation days. I usually want to take a longer break than that though, so I'll use another week or so of vacation days on my own.

I go to the board of education every day and train the new people.
