Pay your forgotten hospital bills ASAP because they can screw you over

Those random phone numbers were actually debt collectors, even though the voice mails sound like spam

Mine dropped 30 points when my renewed credit card was lost in the mail, and they had to cancel it and reissue me new numbers.

Your score shouldn't ever drop because of that. Those usually go to collections which goes on your record but won't impact your score.

I'm right, as expected.

It was the reason my score dropped according to my FICO score report. I originally thought hospital bills dont affect credit score but apparently they do :/

How long didn't you pay them for? I've had a few things go to collections, and because I kept paying my other bills, my score never dropped.

I think it might depend on how much total credit you have. The less things on your record the bigger the impact of each thing you do.
