The only people that will care are weird theme park enthusiasts I'm sure.

Star Wars fanboys will love it and your casual Disney World visiter will love it.

Hell, it doesn't even sound that bad from the stuff I'm reading. "Oh, the Millennium Falcon ride feels too much like a video game. The food isn't 3 Star Michelin quality. The lightsabers aren't as good as the custom built ones. etc. etc."

So since it's only ST stuff are all the aliens just potato faces with spaced out eyes?

It's gonna be at least a decade before the Millennium Falcon walkthrough model isn't 100 percent asses to elbows. People are still waiting up to two hours to ride the Seven Dwarves ride.

At least that's my prediction for the Disney World version. Don't know nor care about Disneyland.

Disney can have a pretty high bar for their attractions. I didn't care in the slightest for Avatar as a movie, but the VR ride was fucking awesome.

it's pretty clear the prequels relied more on sfx than the sequels. aside from that the bottom third from the right in the prequel aliens conjures the taste of atkinson peanut butter bars in my mind. so I guess in that regard eliciting the taste of peanut butter on sight alone is pretty spectacular.
