Well boy howdy folks I never thought you'd ask. Some would say you never did, and to that I say the cameras are fake and not recording! Now, on to why we're all here.

It is no secret I collect money. this specifically details my US one dollar federal reserve note collection. I have currency saved from all other major denominations(2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100) but those aren't as numerous for a variety of reasons namely their cost. I actively collect any and all older one dollar bills I see, as with a variety of other things. So this is a nice detailed list.

What do I set aside?

- all series 2003a(cabral/snow) and before. Why this date? It helps me set aside more bills, but also because 2003A and 2006 is where the split is. 2006 is too numerous for me to save them all, whereas 2003A(and 2003 marin/snow) aren't as common and I can throw down money most days to buy all I see either from the bank or at work. with 2006 i'd have way too many

- any and all star notes. even common ones. I like star notes
- fancy serial numbers. This includes stuff not really valuable but stuff I just like.
- good condition bills. Not all the time, but if I see something that looks brand new I'll probably keep it, depending on what it is
- any errors, though these are tough to find and i dont think i have any legit errors saved.

Why do I do this?

It helps me save money, in addition to being a fun hobby for me. The fact these bills are set aside for one reason or another keeps me from spending it.

That leaves me with a total of 404 notes for a value of $404. Ive seen three more notes im keeping not in this list I found in between making this list and making this topic, so the actual total is $407. the +/- on it is also 407 dollars because these were all face value finds.

What am I going to do with a hoarde of one dollar bills? Keep them in my safe, rather than rain on some hoes. If in the future I stop doing this I can just turn em into a bank for no money lost.
