i don't get why so many shows have to ruin the finale/final season.

as much as i love HIMYM the ending is horrible. the office had a good ending but the final couple seasons were still pretty lame.

rare for a show to be great from beginning to end. breaking bad is the closest thing i can think of. season 5 was just too drawn out. going to 16 episodes was a bad idea. i think if it was 13 it would have been much better pacing and would have been as close as we got to a perfect show.

It's worse for HIMYM because they stuck with the exact goddamn ending they wrote in season 1 in case it got cancelled.

So they ignored 9 seasons of character development.
