Odyssey pros
-hero choice
-can play a chick
-new dialogue system

to guys who have played both - which was the better story?

ive only played odyssey,

but major changes include:
-you can play as girl (who is much better than the dude)
-naval exploration is back like in black flag
-while origins uses shield combat, odyssey has no shields and instead relies on parrying and dodging
-there are the war battles
-exploration mode, which is the way to play the game imo (it doesnt just always give you a way point on the map)
-stealth is more viable
-theres more gear and armor pieces? (individual helmets, bracers, etc instead of one armor set)
-the mercenary system, as you get more wanted, more and harder mercenaries will hunt you down

and apparenty odyssey made a ton of basic quality of life improvements over origins which i didnt really pick up on since i didnt play origins

Both are great, but Odyssey is better.

Origins is pretty grindy itself.
