Kombucha 12/19/18 9:38:48 PM #6:	No. I never paid for traditional cable or satellite but I did try some of the paid streaming services. Most notably- Direct TV Now when it first came out. I was an early adopter and got a package with over 100 channels and HBO. The total was only $29.99 + $4.99 for the HBO, no hidden fees or anything like that. Even with all of that I barely watched it and cancelled it all. I have no regrets about letting that package go, paying to see commercials will never feel right. These days I have a few ad supported apps on my Apple TV that provide hours of entertainment without paying a dime. It's surprising how much content you can get without paying a dime if you still want to be 'legit'. These are mainly CBSN, Pluto TV, YouTube (not YouTube TV/Red), Comet, Reuters TV, Democracy Now, Al Jazeera English, Bloomberg, Ted Talks & The CW/CW Seed. On top of all of that the TV app on Apple TV aggregates on demand movies/tv from Crackle, Tubi & PlutoTV. The only thing I pay for is Hulu because I picked up the Black Friday 2018 deal where it is only 99c a month for 12 months.
