Haven't watched much of his videos but I did like that one. Which others would you recommend?

Yes I like him. I like his older stuff and some of the new stuff is entertaining. Sure he's cringe, but it's kinda charming.

I've only recently started watching his stuff as I thought his Sonic OVA review was hilarious. The last episode I watched was on the movie "Rubber".

His content has gotten significantly better ever since he toned down drastically on thise shitty skits inbetween his reviews. Now they are mostly used as a way to prove his point and he is now more fair on movies now because he watched so many bad films that he actually starts to learn to have more fun with them. In fact he even now reviews movies he likes because he has fun finding faults in good movies. Most people disagree but i think he has significantly improved over the years.

Back when yeah. I started to tune out after a couple of years. The memes, cameos, guest "stars", and over done and over long jokes started to where thin pretty quick. The he and many of the other guys on that site got a little too self indulgent. Those anniversary movies were god awful and unfunny.

Funny enough, I saw his Jack and Jill review in my Youtube suggestions last night and said "what the hell" and watched it. It's nowhere near his classic stuff, but it wasn't terrible and unwatchable as his stuff got at one time. While it wasn't that funny overall, there were some funny parts and I thought it was fine. The overused jokes were gone and the skits were very short.

Not that I'm defending Doug or all the BS his cohorts did, but the "change the channel" was the right thing to do, but for the wrong reasons. Many of the same people who participated in that defended or downplayed a lot of the complaints in that document when they happened. That site was like a cult in certain aspects. Criticism of any kind was censored. The content creators were fiercely loyal to the brand and would defend it to the death and mock anyone who brought up legit issues.

It's only now when their views are going down that this happened and this was mostly for attention. If only they exposed him earlier maybe he actually would have suffered in some regard, but they waited too late. Most of his fans now are kids who weren't even around when TGWTG/CA existed in its previous form. They don't know or care any about it and Doug didn't really lose much fans.

Doug is exactly the same not so funny loud Canadian guy who has some pretty funny movie clips as hes always been other then more skits and a bigger budget

But I've seen a few videos of him talking like a normal person, and he seemed cool there.

Change the Channel failed because the majority of the creators had already left to do there own thing, just not officially, and the main cast stayed put and stood behind the Walkers.

Didnt help that Lupa and Lindsay started it. Great content creators but they had whined about Doug for years before CTC even was a thought, so no one took them seriously. Lupa in particular made herself seem just a wee bit nutty.

Yeah, mainly because of Rob. Doug is fine, but Rob is so sarcastic that he makes that segment.
