It's funny how Christmas felt like it took an eternity to come as a kid but as an adult it's Christmas in the blink of an eye.

It's easy to wear warmer clothes if it's cold but no matter what you're going to feel the heat/sweat.

I can take the heat better than cold. When it's 70 degrees in the morning, I hop out of the bed full of energy. When it's 40 degrees I stay under the covers all morning.

I'd take Halloween over Christmas any day. Dressing up in cool costumes and giving candy is more fun than hearing Christmas music over and over all month long.

This is what the weather has been like here in Portland and I have literately not closed either of my bedroom windows at all. I'll only close them when it snows because I don't want snow on my bed. Rain never seems to really come in

It's never even 103 in FL. It's mostly in the 80s and that's literally summer weather. I'd rather sweat than feel my bones literally lock up

I'm in pretty good shame, so it's not that I'm fat, but I get really bad rashes between my thighs and around my butt and balls when it's too hot and it's very, very painful. I don't drive, so I have to walk places and this is a horrible thing because it makes my entire day painful if it flares up. And I haven't really found anything to prevent or help it and I've been to the doctor.

This shit can happen at 60, let alone near the 90s and 100s we sometimes get here in Portland. I don't even wear a coat in the winter unless it's raining. I'm a bit cold, sure, but then I'm warm all day at work once I get inside. When I have to wear my coat and take it off when I get to work, then I'm a lot more cold because of the sudden change in temperature.

tl;dr

I keep myself at room temperature with the windows open so I'm a little warmer than what is outside, so when I do go outside, it's not so bad since I'm only a bit more cooler than what I just walked out of. If I kept my house heater going and the windows shut, I would freeze when I went outside.

You know what? I'd much rather have to deal with shoveling snow than spend another Christmas Eve or Christmas Day in 70+ degree weather. That's the absolute worst.
