cyber monday deals and pressure cooker croc pot things are tempting to buy. i really don't want to prep anything more than 5 minutes. throw some chicken and other easy ingredients in that bitch and let the magic pot of cooking do it stuff - that is how it works right? i want cook on the easiest difficulty setting humanly possible - not trying for any damn achievements here.

I think a slow cooker might work better. Prep your meal before going to work/school, come back and dig in.

Ask pinky, he made some pretty good meals with it and he's a noob.

You're thinking about a slow cooker. Pressure cooking lets you cook stuff faster but it's not easier.

If all you require is for the food to be cooked then it will serve you well. Just don't expect much unless you're willing to put more time into preparing.

The main thing is to put the foods that take longest to cook on the bottom (usually the veggies). Make sure there's enough liquid at the bottom, it's not meant to be used as a grill. Add some water if you have to.

(talking about slow cookers. pressure cookers aren't really a newbie thing)
