Scroll through basically everything on there and write down all the movies you think you would watch at some point. Cut them into strips, fold them up and throw them all in a bucket.
Then just draw a movie from the bucket whenever you feel like Netflix.

It's drastically shortened the amount of time I spend browsing.

Cant you take off time by just picking one of those instead of writing them down? Or putting them in the queue?

I just pay attention to upcoming shows and movies and watch the ones that interest me as soon as they're released.

Think of it like a random button for netflix, but only stuff you like. It takes a little time to set up initially, but after that it's just easy. Simple, and makes family movie night (if your family does that) a breeze. Each person can put 5 movies in the bucket and fairness ensues.
