I remember using an early version of AOL, AOL 3.5? I remember going to a Marvel website around 1995/1996 where they had trivia questions. I remember playing Starcraft starting in 1999. But my internet usage really took off in 2000 when we got a new computer and also I had started high school.

We had an old Packard Bell for a while. I would go on Nick.com and play that Jimmy Neutron game with the creamed corn. It ran like absolute shit. I also played Amazon Trail 3rd Edition. That's basically it. Wasn't much to do, really.

We got internet through Local Access in early/mid '96 when I was 13.

First it took forever for porn to load. You better be sure which 10-15 second clip you want because it will take 10 minutes to download in 120p.

i remember trading modern basketball cards for 70s football cards and baseball cards on tradingcarddepot.com or something like that and waxpackets.com

i used lycos, alta vista, hotbot, ask jeeves, settled on yahoo until probably 2000 then google since.

Not much. Uh....messaging friends....Slingo?

I also remember a friend who got in trouble for plagiarism because he printed a report straight off a webpage and for some reason thought the teacher wouldn't notice.

Really the internet was too slow and therefore boring for someone who was 10, max. Free time was spent on the SNES.

I guess it was a "newsgroup"(?) I was looking at, trying to get someone to tell me where the Fire/Magic Rod was in Link's Awakening. Got frustrated and cursed when I emailed someone. Somehow my mom found out and sent the guy an apology, saying how we're goodie two shoe Christians and shes shocked I cursed. I was like 10?

Mid 1998 when I looked for info on Ocarina and Final Fantasy VII.

For a few years Odyssey of Hyrule and Zelda Power is where I spent most of my time on though.

Also didn't get my own Computer and Internet until 2001 so I always had to use friends or wherever I was at.

there was also a way to kick people if they had sound enabled in chatrooms. you put 'con/con' where the filename should've gone.

I remember running Netscape around '91. I was 6. At first I was afraid to really venture out into the world wide web. Eventually you discovered search engines and stuff. Seemed like the web grew exponentially everyday as far as layout and graphical advancements. Was pretty weird to be sure.
