the one big flaw of the Classics is that you only get like a specific 20 games and that is it forever. I still say that they should have had expansions that came on disc or something that let you add new games that get released in new sets like once a year

What on earth did you expect from a Greatest Hits collection? The whole library?

The classic systems desperately need internet capabilities to dl more games. This shit was such a missed opportunity...they could have been literal Virtual Consoles.

8bitdo makes a SNES style controller and also one with analog sticks. The analog stick version is top notch and works with PS3 too.

100x better than the shit controllers the classic comes with

This was good, got a good chuckle out of me.

I'm sticking with the classics, got about 500 games on my Nes and getting ready to do the same for my Snes.

Could you imagine an eShop standalone? Buy the console, get an SD card and have access to all their retro games and indies.

Also are raspberry pi owners the vegans of videogame culture

Except the part where they gave you enough HDD space on the thing to fit at least 4x that many games and the software for doing so is easy enough for a monkey to use

2 controllers, Snes case, MicroSD card, a Raspberry Pi, is the extra work really worth the few dollars you save?
