it's a short passage meant to invoke meaning and feelings and be about something "deep" related to life

It really bothers me when someone is speaking English with no accent and then they say a word or phrase rooted in another language, like hors d'oeuvres, or mnage a trois, and they over-articulate it as if they're suddenly speaking to a room full of French people.

This goes for any language. Like I was watching Telemundo one day and this chick is speaking normal Spanish and she drops her native voice and tries to sound like a New Yorker as she mentions the Yankees.

I wanna stab myself in the ears when this happens. Maybe this is a weird pet peeve. Luckily I don't have to hear any CEmen try to troll me with it.

You can say them without sounding like a douche nozzle. It doesn't have to be one extreme or another. Do you over pronounce the R sound in margarita?
