If youre going to college full-time in the same town then I can see why some people stay a little longer. If youre focusing on school to the point that working enough to pay rent is detrimental to your education, theres no need to. Or, if you just are in a bad spot in life and arent ready to leave yet/need to move back in for a bit to sort out your life, I get that.
