Ok...someone said or did something dumb before, but if they changed, why not praise the change instead of demonizing them?

If someone was an ignorant homophobe 10 years ago and he evolved for example, as a gay guy, I won't resent the person he is today.

So...what do you guys think?

It's kinda hard to feel sorry for people that get fired for stuff they say on social media. Watching what you say online because it can come back to haunt you was central to almost every single internet related PSA in the 90's. It's not difficult at all to refrain from making rape or pedophile jokes, and if it really is difficult for you then don't say them online.
