I remember when Jojo started being popular years ago, I said I was gonna wait for the dub when fellow users told me about it

people like SHINE and Xiahou said it was NEVER gonna happen and it was silly of me to wait

while I don't regret watching the sub, its just an amazing feeling seeing that not only it got dubbed, but its POPULAR AND Its on fucking Toonami. If someone from the future told you this was gonna happen, would you have believed them?

they are almost 3/4s of the way done with Jojo

anyways, this scene is quite possibly my favorite scene in any anime. Its so amazing. The realization and terror that begins to befell on them UNTIL their determination kicks in.

They remember to STAND PROUD.

and that song kicks ass and makes the whole scene too. It would not have been the same without it

the only difference I don't like is that Joseph yells out KAKUGO WA II NE!!!! (LETS GO) in the sub, which is cool

"Alright men ya ready....?" is not as blood pumping

"alright men ya ready" is said in english almost under his breath

you can say hes probably tired and relieved

but the JOSEPH JOESTAR I KNOW would be pumped as shit and ready to get this done, which I felt was conveyed more in the sub. And he gets you pumped too

the story is broken up into "parts"

they go in order so yea, the beginning is good

The manga started in the mid 80s and is still going to this day, its currently in part 8

The anime I posted is Part 3, probably the most famous part. Its the FFVII of Jojo

Parts 1 and 2 are condensed into 1 season
Part 3 is 2 seasons
Part 4 of 1 season

They currently haven't announced Part 5 nor have they claimed they're not doing it either. Its been like, a year or so since part 4 ended

Hulu and Crunchyroll both have Jojo subbed

Ehhhh that seasonal description is a little misleading. Part 4 was 3 cour. Technically it's one season, but a longer season than 3's seasons, which were 2 2 cour seasons.

Season 2 had the first half of Part 3

Season 3 had the second half of Part 3

Season 4 had all of Part 4

The seasons being all different lengths is confusing. Episode counts is easier, or understanding how Japanese tv works but whatever.
