BMW's are expensive, so usually it means the person is wealthy (or wealthier than the people complaining about them). Then confirmation bias comes into play, where you will remember someone in a BMW cutting you off more often than you will someone in a Honda. They also attract assholes because they are considered a status symbol and for 'true car enthusiasts', and enthusiasts of anything can be horrible.

I don't understand the cutting people off in expensive cars. Like I drive a lower end expensive car so I always give everyone a ton of space because if any fucker hits me it's going to cost me way more money that it costs then.

Whereas when I drove a shit car I drove way worse because I didn't care about damaging it

Because the dealerships require an Asshole License to make sure you're a certified asshole before selling you the car and they make you check in every 3 months to make sure you haven't become a better person yet

Typically people with expensive cars aren't worried about the cost of repairing/replacing because either they just have that much money or their insurance is much better than yours
