I hope this HDMI splitter I found does actually strip the HDCP off the cord as well so I don't have to worry about that dumb shit.

The Xbox One X is probably best still direct to the TV for the 120Hz since the HDMI switch I got will also not go faster than 60Hz...

I also need to save up for the Elgato 4K60... Which after buying all this shit for moving I am far away from haha.

My ideal setup would be as this...

My Devices (PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, Cable Box, Switch) To the HDMI 4K Switcher

From the HDMI 4K Switcher to my HDMI 4K Splitter/HDCP Stripper

The two outputs from the HDCP Stripper to my Elgato Capture Device, and the other end to the TV.

That is simular to my current setup with my 1080p equipment so I don't have to switch cords every single time I switch devices... but if I need to then oh well.

TV cost $1.2K, TV stand was $200, the equipment/HDMI cords I just got today is about another $60ish...

I want to eventually get the Elgato 4K60 but that thing is like $350 right now, so that's a future 'maybe'.

Good fun.
