+ Closer to work
+ Cheaper
+ Gated community
+ Much better lighting provided
+ Bigger kitchen
+ Actual patio that is usable and not just a thin strip of wasted space

Honestly, I'm unsure if I'm gonna use my patio much either. I've never had a nice patio like this and I don't have any patio furniture. I'm also not sure if I'd be comfortable just leaving furniture outside like that. *Shrug*

But it's nice to have. Just gotta make sure no wasps are out there every now and then.

It was also kinda sad to see them die after the pest guy came and sprayed shit. They just were like... slowly dying in agony :(

I'm allergic to insect bites/stings, so I don't care too much. When I was about 10 or 11 years old, I was stung by a bumble bee on my pinky finger between the nail and the 1st joint. My whole hand and part of my wrist were badly swollen for 2 weeks.

Maybe one day. I could probably have afforded to do it in the area where I work, but most of the homes there are pretty... old and cheap. Like $50-70K area, with mostly street parking and no AC. This apartment is like 5-10 min from work which alone is gonna save me like $150 a month in gas. I was driving an hour and back everyday.

Also property tax/school taxes are apparently stupidly high for no good reason in that area.

Yeah I spend an hour each way driving to work and that's after buying a house 30 mins closer to work O_O

Also, specifically didn't choose the better house bc of property taxes. I'm paying like 6k less a year at this location.
