Which one?

Both are not taxed
You cannot invest the 1 million dollars

Oops, the second choice should be "Give me 100 dollars everyday for the rest of my life."

1 million now. Who knows if I'll live long enough to collect the equivalent at $100 a day, what with inflation and everything.

Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

The $100.
1 millions at a rate of $100 a day would last 27-some years.
I plan on living longer than that, and $36,000 a year isn't too shabby.

You could double the million dollars in much less than 60 years by investing it.

I could easily live on 36k a year (AKA 100 bucks a day)

It would free me up to pursue my creative interests which, if they took off, would be even more money on top of that.

It takes roughly 27 years to get a million dollars via 100 a day. Average life span far exceeds that.

The million cant be invested, while no rules seem to exist for the hundred.

A hundred a day is the better option, by far. You just need a little know-how and patience.

And nothing stops you from keeping your current day job, so for me, it would easily double my salary (I earn more than that but with the deductions, I'm left with roughly whatever the $100 a day would give me, the $100 goes right in my account, no deductions)

Except at a reasonable 3.65% interest you'd have the same amount every year PLUS the million in the bank.

I dont get you cant invest it. You can buy shoes, cars, house, etc and they can go up in value without you trying to invest in them. Do I just have 1 million sitting in a bank account that I cant touch or something?
