The boulder is probably the easiest of the traps - having hundreds of pneumatic plates, which required aiming on top of that, could have taken 20~30 years on its own.

That kind of technology and thinking sounds ridiculous coming from them.

And how many lives used up building it all :/

The technology to do one pneumatic plate arrow trap is not that far fetched, it's little more than the technology behind a pipe organ... but the quantity is ridiculous, I'd say there are more pipes than reality would permit given the size of the room.

I am more surpsied the traps are still functioning after 100s of years of being unmaintained. Dust build up, cobwebs and such would probably render those traps unusable
