How did you manage to have a pet skunk? There had to be several points where someone thought about whether or not a skunk should be a pet and at every interval they decided that yes, it is a good idea.

People have all kinds of pets. I knew someone who had squirrels. And a guy who had raccoons. Like multiple. Not all at the same time, but sometimes.

I've known people with descented skunks and they've said the same thing about how they are similar to cats in behavior. My sister had a raccoon named Honey and my husband's grandmother had a crow.

My grandparents raised a couple of baby skunks after their mother was killed on their property for a few years. They were some cute little bastards.

someone else had it, then they decided they didn't want it anymore

while it technically had papers and everything, I think, I don't think it was legal to own a pet skunk in town maybe, and we lived out in the country at the time so hey let's get a pet skunk it'll be neato
