when someone is making a public statement, and then they leave, the reporters always shout questions at them as they are walking away. I am 36, and not once in my entire life, have I ever seen someone turn back around and answer another question after they started to walk away

Their hope is to illicit a reaction from them or if its a group sometimes the person will pause momentarily and offer a short comment. Its their job might as well try everything they can.
