They should bring it back and continue it in the same art style (well, the art style before season 5) and same voice actors.

The showrunner proposed what a season 6 would have involved:

Disney version of X-Men TAS nowadays

*Wolverine walks in Professor X's office with problem*
*Professor X cracks 3 jokes in 2 mins*
*Mindless fun banter between the two before a serious moment*
*One more quick quip*
*fade out on an establishing shot of the room with an avengers easter egg*

They could bring back the original showrunner and writers and have minimal influence over the show.

every other mutant has six seconds of screen time

that would be pretty faithful to the Fox X-movies tbh

I didn't like how Wolverine was never able to hit anyone with his claws in that show unless it was a Sentinel.

Yeah. I have loads of nostalgia for TAS but it doesnt hold up as well as most people think. Wolverine and the X-Men was just a better show, even if TAS has a more prominent spot in my heart.

I'd rather they continue X-Men Evolution. That final scene was a cocktease (spoilers obvs)

The show was a challenge to even get on the air, that type of violence would be a no-no.

That article reminded me that X-men Evolution existed. That was such a great show.

TAS was amazing for the first 4 seasons. That fifth season was full of boring filler episodes.

Assuming Marvel Studios = Disney?

Anyway...

No I don't want Disney to touch the original series. I'm not happy with what they're doing with Star Wars. I am really not interested in seeing them make something so bad it winds up making the Fox films look like masterpieces.
