You might want to review how the market was doing prior to the Great Depression or the Great Recession before you make a comment like this.

Calvin Coolidge had the right idea of keeping government off of the economy. Herbert Hoover instead decided to let bankers take care of things, which led to the Depression.

Even though we had one for the past 10 years.

The Fed creates bubbles. Those on the inside get out right before it bursts, screwing over everyone else. Most of the people responsible for 2008 profited.
