I missed a pill on Sunday (only 10mg). Then I started with a higher dose on Monday (15mg) a day.

Could this mix up thing mess with my depression? I've felt more depressed this week, especially Tuesday and yesterday.

Probably depends on how long the gap was between taking one again really as well.

The short term increases in presynaptic serotonin don't seem to be directly responsible for the theraputic effects of SSRIs, so not really.

You should be okay really then, but I don't think you are meant to take a larger dose to make up for it typically.

Nah I didn't. It's just a coincidence that I missed a dose day before my new dosage would start.

O, fair enough. But you should likely be fine as long as you don't work yourself up about it really.

I wouldn't think so because it takes time for it to build up in your system. However, not taking it for an extended period of time can be terrible.

It shouldn't have much of an effect if you've been taking it this long. It could possibly just be you adjusting to the new dosage, or a down part of the depressive cycle coinciding with it. If you're really concerned, bring it up with the doctor because they're supposed to monitor your dosage and reactions to changes.

Guess I'm just in lower point in my depression now.

Like 1-2 weeks ago I had a week I felt almost normal, but then I dipped back into darkness.
