I watched the beginning so far. The rings look easier than AVGN made them out to be.

The rings are not that hard. The combat is amazingly awful though.

Most of AVGN's review was him complaining about the difficulty and frequency of the rings.

Not my fault that he doesnt understand how a controller works :/

You just tap the joystick in the direction you need to go. Its very sensitive. If you hold it in one direction like a numb nuts, youre going to have problems. There are loads of other things with the flying, like trying to hover up/down by holding Z or whatever, that make it bad.

So it's not "some of the worst flight accuracy EVER in video game" ?

Oh, Minecrap! I cannot wait to play Minecrap. Do you know what my favorite thing to do is in Minecrap? I love building bricks with Minecrap. Building bricks with Minecrap is the best thing and the most amount of fun you can have while playing an app. I understand why all the kids are playing this game these days -- it's because they like to build brown bricks with Minecrap. I also like to build brown bricks with Minecrap. It's the most fun you can possibly have. What is the point of Minecrap?

AVGN should revisit Superman 64. There is so much more to talk about besides the rings.

It seemed like he got too frustrated to want to play further, but yes he should revisit it.

I mean... its pretty bad. Fuck, it was a 3D game on 64 and it went through some development hell supposedly. Im just saying that adapting to tapping a joystick instead of holding it down in one direction like you may do in a racing game is not rocket science. The flying is very sensitive, like it was calibrated with another controller, so its BAD, could be one of the worst flying mechanics in all of that genre and time period, but there were worse things than sensitivity issues. In conclusion, my opinion is that he probably bitches too much about nothing because he sucks at games and/or he plays a character.

AVGN did go through about four levels or so before calling it quits so it isn't like he didn't figure out the controls.

I watched a play-through which mentioned all these glitches and clipping issues, perhaps AVGN should re-review it and mention them.

Oh yeah, thats actually one of the coolest things about the game too. The level after all the rings and picking up the cars and shit is horrendous. You can float up into the ceiling and clip through pretty easily, but its cool because then you can fly through out of bounds and skip a lot of the level. I watched part of a speedrun and bought the game just to see how broken it was.
