Maybe I'm just biased as a Smash extraordinaire but it's like they took that concept and decided to change it to be worse.

Instead of a percent system that more or less guarantees you get a kill eventually, now it's this weird power up system where all the damage you did can be entirely wasted on a whiffed special. Also your character always faces in the direction you're moving while jumping? Like that's a platformer 101 no no. Super Mario Bros. had more common sense than that.

I think I paid like 5 bucks. I don't know, it's not terrible. Like compare it to Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion which is actively bad, and it's like, at least they tried with this one. But it's nowhere near Smash Bros and the lack of single-player content is a pretty serious oversight.

as hilarious as it is I still have more investment in the Bioshock, Uncharted, Infamous, Jak, and God of War franchises than I do anything in Smash except Kirby

I'm surprised that image exists. Cloud wasn't announced until 3 years after PASBR came out. That means someone still cared enough 3 years later to still take a shot at the game.

I have investment in lots of PlayStation franchises, but I love smash Bros on a much more than casual level because I love it's mechanics more than the actual Nintendo aspect.

If PlayStation was half as good I would have loved it but it's just not close to being nearly as deep. The gameplay concept is too bad for me. It's like a game mode that should just been a game mode instead of the only way to play.

Limited HDD space, man. Combined with the crummy download speeds on the PS3. I might still have it around but I'd rather just play Smash Bros at any point.
I'd totally play GoW:A multiplayer with people, though. That was a PS+ game I think.
