I won 39 games. I tied seven games. I had 124 points.

But I didnt win manager of the year, because there is always the obsession with this award to give it to coach who slightly overperforms.

which i thought was me, breaking the league wins, points, goals for records.

but no.

Yeah. At the last World Cup, Messi was the sorest fucking loser of the tournament and they gave him an award that he ungraciously accepted, looking like a sour dick the rest of the night.

But in basketball and football the best coach doesnt win coach of the year, its basically the one who does the best with the most average things. The coach of the team with the best players wont win coach of the year for getting the number one seed, we can see they have the best players

Right but isnt it obviously Greg Popovich every year? Like take any piece in or out and his team is just as good: amazing. Or Bill Belichick for the pats.

They should win every year, but they dont. And thats fine because its more entertaining that way

Yeah Pop moreso than Steve Kerr I think, and that's not to take anything away from Kerr either

So, I am now in league 2.

The first game in the league I ended up losing, 2-0. That was my first league match loss in 51 tries(all 46 last year and five from the end of the season before that).

Now I didnt expect to go undeafeated for that long, but kinda weird I just up and lose.

but then a few weeks later in round 2 of the capital one cup(whatever this is), I thrash premier league side west ham who was playing with a mix of backups and starters, 5-1.

im back on track baby.

at least steve kerr won when the warriors broke the regular season record.

there is some justice in this world.

I feel like if I can pool anybody slightly interested from potd i could make a topic and itll have some small level of traction.

in this save i am playing as the Boston Utd. Pilgrims, a team originall in the Conference north, the joint lowest level of play in the entire game. I have since taken them to league one while also doing a database experiment regarding the games training and development attributes.

its super fun! and interesting! im having a blast.
