in terms of hours, the best job I've had was Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 3:00

6:30 AM - 2:30 PM is the best shift. Still get 8 hours, and still enough time left in the day to run errands with daylight and enjoy the afternoon.

9-5 is a slave shift. Not enough time in the morning to do anything, and during the fall/winter months no daylight to do anything.

I'd rather go in early and get out early. For a time we were working 6-230 and it was great. You're out early enough to where the traffic is sparse and when you're done for the day you have extra time to do stuff. 8-4 would be good too.

I accidentally chose 9-5 in the poll though >_<.
