Sorry to say though that I don't own a PS4 or I'd definitely get this.

Although I will say $25 seems like a bit much. It feels expensive just like the Sports Challenge game on Steam. Not sure why they charge so much.

I'm not sure why whoever's doing the actual development on these games is so married to the idea of using the old style sprites but with 3D environments. It makes it look kinda cheap in some ways where I would prefer sprite backgrounds

I went to free battle and played a round

as it shows in the trailer, its a 4 player free for all with the RCR mechanics.

Have yall played the Multiplayer mode or the battle mode for Tokyo Rumble? Its the same thing but with more moves

I'll have to play a few more rounds but I'll fuckin tell ya right now its not worth 25 fuckin bucks

also I will tell you its not as deep as Nekketsu Densetsu (Fighting Legend) on NES either

I'm not sure if I like the gameplay loop of Rival Showdown. Too much running around with no enemies, hoping to stumble upon a plot event, kinda like that one on NES set in old Japan
