Just play The New Order and the Old Blood. The latter is a smaller stand alone DLC of the former and both are great.

If you're really curious about the series, you can check out the original Wolfenstein 3D and Return to Castle Wolfenstein, but the two that I mentioned above are actually part of the new game's canon and it's best to just start with those.

I'm debating on actually paying full price for this but I also don't want to give Bethesda the full price after bringing back paid mods.

It might not but both elder scrolls and fallout 4 got added later. I'm not worried about them getting added to wolfenstein but I also don't think they deserve 60 or 80.

Wouldn't it make sense to reward the games that don't have it though?

Personally it doesn't bother me either way. But Wolfenstein 2 is one of the only AAA single player FPS games left. Chances are Fallout 4 and Elder Scrolls are gonna sell a lot more than this, Evil Within 2, Prey and Dishonored.

Yeah don't get me wrong. At the end of the day it's your choice. I won't be buying it at launch but I'll likely be buying it before the end of the year. I just mean more if that's a factor then these are the games that likely deserve your money (presuming the game is good obviously which I'm sure it will be).

probably not. they say there will be another "To Be Continued" ending for this one, and there is likely gonna be a Wolfenstein 3

Hope it's great. My friend convinced me to play the last one and it was real surprising. Liked it a lot, even more than DOOM.

Won't be getting it at launch though. Wanna save money and I've got too much in my backlog as is.

I have a question: Is the grenade button and the weapon wheel still the same button (on PS4)? If it is, is it possible to change it this time to where I can map the weapon wheel button with the button that let's you switch between the last two button instead? That was something about the controls that always bugged me.

I've put almost 4 hours into the game and most of it have just been exploring and listening to the characters talk/interact with one another. The game is so well written.

Dude, I immediately died the moment I encountered the first Nazi soldier. Granted, I'm playing on the second hardest available difficulty and the wheelchair's handling took me by surprise.
